Michael Ott, D.O.
Dr. Ott completed his medical degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a residency in Emergency Medicine at The Ohio State University College Of Medicine. His extensive background as a board certified emergency physician for over 24 years equips him with the skills and knowledge to handle a wide range of health concerns with precision and care. Dr. Ott has additional certifications and special interest in medical weight management, exosome therapy, hormone optimization, and hyperbaric medicine. He is not only the medical director but also an integral patient provider at Rising Tide Wellness.
Dr. Ott lives in Wilmington with his Wife, Amy, two daughters, Ava Claire and Camille and their dogs, Rachel and Tilly. Outside of work, he enjoys playing hockey and living the coastal lifestyle.
Shelley Piatkowski, RN, BSN, CANS
Shelley Piatkowski graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She began her career as an operating room nurse gaining extensive experience in plastic surgery and precision anatomical
work. This experience served as steppingstone into the emerging field of cosmetic dermatology as an Aesthetic injector in 2007. Over the last seventeen years Shelley has had the opportunity to learn, grow, and advance within the constantly evolving world
of aesthetics to become an expert cosmetic specialist for invasive and noninvasive procedures ranging from injections to lasers and body contouring.
Shelley is a national trainer and speaker for Allergan Medical Institute where she shares her passion and advanced experience, training first time injectors and advanced providers throughout the country. She believes that education is key to providing safe
and cutting-edge techniques to her patients and has trained with the most world-renowned injectors and anatomists in the industry (Dr. Arthur Swift, Dr. Stephen Weiner, Dr. Sebastian Cotofana, Dr Chris Surek, Dr Mauricio de Maio, Dr David Saadat, Nicola Lowrey,
Julie Bass Kaplan, Dr Steve Yoelin, etc)
Shelley’s vision is to create confidence and empowerment in her patients to better their health, sense of self, and enhance their natural beauty. Shelley is passionate about creating a calm environment and providing holistic care utilizing her extensive experience
and knowledge to help patients define their own personal aesthetic journey.
When Shelley is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two dogs. She loves peloton, yoga, skiing, and spending time on the water.
Gena Fernandez
With a passion for skincare that dates back as long as she can remember, Gena has dedicated her career to helping clients feel confident and radiant. Originally from rural eastern North Carolina, she carries the warmth and hospitality of her roots into every client relationship, building lasting relationships and making each person feel valued and pampered.
She moved to Wilmington in 2000 and became a graduate of Cape Fear Community College and a licensed esthetician in 2003. Gena has been building her expertise and reputation over the years., where she has become a beloved part of the community, known for her personalized approach to skincare.
Gena offers a wide range of services, from advanced treatments like Hydrafacials, chemical peels, microneedling, and laser hair removal to laser rejuvenating facials and classic services like custom facials, dermaplaning, waxing and lash/brow tinting. She holds specialized certifications in these areas, ensuring clients receive the highest quality care with the latest techniques.
She is happily married, with two kids Cambria and Maddox. Outside of work, a perfect day would be on the water boating with her family ending with an amazing Wilmington sunset. Traveling to new places with her family, listening to live music, and cooking delicious meals with her husband are her favorites.
Andy Meyer, Clinical Pharmacist
Originally from Minnesota, Andy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Creighton University and a residency at St Louis University Hospital. Andy has more than 10 years experience as a Clinical and Emergency Medicine Pharmacist.
Andy lives in Wilmington with his wife, Ainslee and their pug, Cinder. He enjoys golfing, reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
